Boston Day 1

Started early this morning by catching taxi from hotel to Penn Station where we boarded Boston  train. At the station we used the Red Cap porters to get us on to the train before everyone else which made it easier to get our suitcases on to the train and stored. Trip took about 4 hours. Walked up through Boston Common and the city.

Visited Arlington Cemetery where JFK is buried and toured the cities war memorials. Vietnam Memorial is particularly moving as they have listed names of all the soldiers killed in action. Did a tour Capitol building and then went through the underground tunnel to the Library of Congress.

Walked to see Carrie Bradshaws Sex and the City steps, Magnolia Bakery, Hudson River and then up Canal St where they sell fake handbags etc. At sunset we went to Top of the Rock to view Sunset over New York City.
