Lancaster Pennsylvania

Walked around Lancaster which seems a bit rundown. Houses from $40000. Hotel looks lovely as it was converted from a cork factory but unfortunately they neglected to put  insulation between  the  floors.
Dinner was with an Amish family þhat also told us about their lifestyle.

Visited Arlington Cemetery where JFK is buried and toured the cities war memorials. Vietnam Memorial is particularly moving as they have listed names of all the soldiers killed in action. Did a tour Capitol building and then went through the underground tunnel to the Library of Congress.

Walked to see Carrie Bradshaws Sex and the City steps, Magnolia Bakery, Hudson River and then up Canal St where they sell fake handbags etc. At sunset we went to Top of the Rock to view Sunset over New York City.
