New York Day 6

Caught the train to 14 St then walked a disused train line called the Highline. There were lots of interesting views along the way. Continued our walk along the Hudson River to the Intrepid Aircraft Carrier which has been turned into a museum housing aircraft of all kind even the Space Shuttle. Back to the hotel for a rest then walked along 5th Ave.

Visited Arlington Cemetery where JFK is buried and toured the cities war memorials. Vietnam Memorial is particularly moving as they have listed names of all the soldiers killed in action. Did a tour Capitol building and then went through the underground tunnel to the Library of Congress.

Walked to see Carrie Bradshaws Sex and the City steps, Magnolia Bakery, Hudson River and then up Canal St where they sell fake handbags etc. At sunset we went to Top of the Rock to view Sunset over New York City.
