Finally at our Hotel. Left Caringbah at 6:30 am arrived at our hotel at 10:00 am Australian time. The same day 26hrs later. Both very tired with blocked noses and ears. Dinner at a local diner.

Washington DC Day 2

May 21, 2017

Visited Arlington Cemetery where JFK is buried and toured the cities war memorials. Vietnam Memorial is particularly moving as they have listed names of all the soldiers killed in action. Did a tour Capitol building and then went through the underground tunnel to the Library of Congress.

Philadelphia and NYC Day 7

May 21, 2017

Visited Independence Hall then back to New York. Walked down to 9th Ave and visited a food festival. 9th avenue was closed for 10 blocks and there were 100s of stalls.

New York Day 9

May 24, 2017

Walked to see Carrie Bradshaws Sex and the City steps, Magnolia Bakery, Hudson River and then up Canal St where they sell fake handbags etc. At sunset we went to Top of the Rock to view Sunset over New York City.
